Real Women Show Off Their Skin After Using Dove Body Wash & Beauty Bar: Youtube Video – Affirmative View

What better way to celebrate the soft, smooth results of Dove Beauty Bar and Body Wash than to let the real women who use the products speak for themselves?

We are passionate about Natural Beauty. We are very thankful for those who appreciate REAL natural beauty like we do. We love to see people stand up and make a difference. We love to see people have bravery to step out of their comfort-zone. We love that women no longer settle for what society wants our future to look like. We appreciate companies and resourceful people that STAND out from the simple norm. Dove, a multi-millionaire soap company has created numerous commercials empowering women for their REAL NATURAL look and we are all for it! We love to see that Dove shares the same values as us. What we love the most is that Dove, a multi-millionaire company, has no shame of promoting Natural Beauty for women. The brand does not care simply about what is currently “in” instead they work towards promoting something they’re passionate about. We find this company resourceful and successful because Dove cares about its customers. Dove, demonstrates the care for their customers because they do not care about profiting cosmetic skincare products, in which, would results of higher profits and sales.

Instead, of making up a fairy-tale women, Dove embraces real natural women. This commercial from Dove, Real Women Show Off Their Skin After Using Dove Body Wash & Beauty Bar, embraces all women from different ethnicities to join dove to help promote a natural look. The commercial was intended to allow a women to show off their natural look to be featured in their next commercial. This gives people a positive feedback and allows people to connect to Dove in a more intimate way. If more skin-care companies thought like Dove, then society would be less likely to persuade people into plastic surgery or cosmetic procedures.

Plastic Republic

Plastic Republic

It’s not a secret that plastic surgery has become more popular over the years, with an estimate of of 17.5 million people getting plastic surgery each year nationwide according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. (https://www.plasticsurgery.org/documents/News/Statistics/2017/plastic-surgery-statistics-infographic-2017.pdf) Asia is also catching up with the trends, China accounts for 12.7 percent of the total plastic surgery procedures – after the United States and Brazil. In most Asian cultures, you are judged based on your appearance vs. your credibility or qualifications, in other words, if you are nice to look at, you are more likely to get the job. In this regard, back in 2004 there was news of a husband suing his wife for $120,000 American dollars because their children were “ugly” and that the wife, unbeknownst to her husband, had plastic surgery. The husband was able to win his case because this counted as fraud, the husband’s argument was that he was lied to and manipulated into marrying her. This conveys that, if you plan on getting plastic surgery and plan on hiding it, you won’t be able to hide it for long. The truth will come out eventually, especially if you plan on marrying and having kids. Doesn’t anyone marry for love anymore or is it all about looks nowadays? You should be able to fall in love with a person’s mind and character, not placing it all on their aesthetic features. Besides, is beauty going to raise the children of tomorrow or is it the knowledge and charisma people pass on?   Beauty is not flawless but, it shines through your flaws.

plastic.jpgIn recent news, people have also gone to extremes to fulfill their vision of beauty. Recently, 3 Taiwanese women went to South Korea to get plastic surgery done on their face, they tried flying back the same day but were detained and questioned by immigrant officers because their face were so swollen that the officers were unable to properly identify them by their passport photos. They showed officers their passport, tickets, and other traveling documents but were unable to prove that they were the same people on their passports. How ridiculous is that? Completely altering your features to become someone absolutely different. Choosing to go under the knife is choosing to become a stranger to your friends and family, countless days of pain, and potential health risks. Learn to love yourself and let your inner beauty shine through. There’s no need to alter or enhance your look, you are unique, flaws and all. There’s nothing more sexy or alluring than when someone has confidence in themselves.

According to a blog article on NewBeauty, people who are interested in receiving plastic surgery often reference a famous person’s photo during a consultation for cosmetic surgery. In the article, Tatiana Bido explains that, “Bringing in a picture for reference is one way that doctors and patients can get on the same page as far as aesthetic goals and realistic expectations.” The article went on to discuss 13 celebrities everyone wants to look like and why people want to emulate some of their features. The list included famous people such as: Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Jenner, Brad Pitt, Kim Kardashian, Natalie Portman, Megan Fox, Julia Roberts, George Clooney, Hugh Jackman, Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Alba & last, but not least Madonna.

ARTICLE QUOTE: Miami dermatologist Flor Mayoral, MD: “Many patients looking for lip augmentation will bring photos of lips on their wishlist. Often, Angelina Jolie is the photo they bring.”

ARTICLE QUOTE: Grand Rapids, MI, plastic surgeon Ryan Mitchell, MD: “Society’s idea of beauty is fluid and always changing. Currently, we are seeing significant influence on ideal body proportions and accentuated body curves by individuals trying to mimic their favorite social media celebrities like Kim Kardashian. Unfortunately, many of these celebrity photos have been edited to exaggerate these ideals, which can make them difficult to accomplish.”

ARTICLE QUOTE: West Palm Beach, FL, plastic surgeon Michael Schwartz, MD: “For Megan Fox, most patients say they love how her nose looks sculpted but without sharp edges. I believe that what they see is that she has incredible facial symmetry and balance. As your eye transitions from her brows to her cheeks, nose and jawline, a blending appears almost perfect without any uneven shadowing to distract you or suggest a flaw.”

According to another website, Dr. Togerson briefly elaborates on the need for plastic surgery and how it varies from person-to-person, these reasons included:

  • Cosmetic purposes
  • Boosting self-esteem and self-image
  • To turn back the hands of time
  • To make a partner happy

faceInstead of looking at surface explanations as to why someone should undergo the knife if they don’t like what they see in the mirror, we challenge them to dive deeper than the tip of the iceberg. As the professionals mentioned in NewBeauty article explain, celebrities aesthetics don’t work on everybody therefore it is important to be realistic about the results. However we ask you to be realistic with yourself and the definition of beauty. Have you allowed society to define beauty for you? We ask you to do the inside work so that you’re able to see yourself as beautiful in your own #Uniqueness. If you wouldn’t allow someone to steal your identity (#IdentityTheft) then why would you allow yourself to look like somebody else? Your features were made specifically for you and once you’ve decided to go under the knife, there is no returning back to your original nose, lips, chest, booty, etc.

In the words of Kendrick Lamar, “take the #MaskOff so you can see” your own beauty

What’s Driving the Billion-Dollar Natural Beauty Movement?: Affirmative Argument

According to the article What’s Driving the Billion-Dollar Natural Beauty Movement? written by Rina Raphael the sales of organic natural beauty products are raising more than ever. A huge number of people are refusing to  inject any chemical-filled products into their skin.

According to this article, experts believe that the beauty industry could change for the better. Parabens, synthetic colors, and phthalates are the most common chemicals in most popular skin care products. This article focuses on the successful, entrepreneurship of Tata Harpers organic skin care line and its successful journey. It begins with how Tata began her involvement and interest in natural skin care products.

natural.jpgTata’s stepfather was diagnosed with skin cancer caused by synthetic chemical. His doctor ordered him to stop using anything with synthetic in it. Tata soon realized that synthetic chemical is technically in all skin care products, such as shampoo, soaps, etc. She then realized she had to create change. She researched for many years different solutions to find REAL natural ingredients to use versus what she and her stepfather used. Her now booming organic skin care line is soon to reach $13.2 billion in 2018. Her empowering success has many popular stores encouraging people to let go of these toxic chemicals and to instead use organic natural skin care products. People are slowly, but surely moving forward to taking better care of their skin. This is why we advocate for natural beauty, to have people feel safe and free from injecting themselves with chemicals that will affect them. If Tata Harper is now making billions of her organic skin care line, we can definitely help inform people that REAL ORGANIC skin care products, really do exists!

“It’s a movement happening around the world,” Harper says. “A movement toward better health, an evolution in consumer products where we’re realizing that a lot of things we thought were good are not.” –Tata Harper
